These terms govern your use of kargartglass.com and your participation in experiences, classes, and workshops offered by Karg Art Glass, located at 111 N. Oliver Avenue, Kechi, Kansas 67067. By booking an experience or using our website, you agree to these terms.
Booking and payment
Booking fee. We collect a non-refundable booking fee of $10 per person at the time of reservation. This fee applies toward the total cost of your piece.
Balance due. The remaining balance is paid at the studio on the day of your visit. Current pricing for Blow Your Own pieces is Ornament $37.50, Paperweight $50.00, and Pumpkin $65.00, per person, plus applicable Kansas sales tax.
Advance notice. Reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
Group size. Online booking accommodates groups of up to nine people. We never combine your group with other guests. For groups of ten or more, call (316) 744-2442 to arrange.
Tax-exempt organizations. Tax exemption documentation must be provided at least two weeks before the scheduled date. Documentation may be emailed to info@kargartglass.com.
Cancellations, changes, and no-shows
Cancellation. Cancellations require at least 24 hours’ notice. The $10 per-person booking fee is non-refundable.
Rescheduling. You may reschedule reservations with at least 24 hours’ notice, subject to availability.
Late arrival. If you arrive more than [10] minutes after your scheduled start time, we may not be able to accommodate your session and will work with you to reschedule.
No-show. Failure to attend a scheduled reservation without notice forfeits the booking fee.
Cancellation by Karg Art Glass. If we must cancel for any reason, including staff illness or equipment failure, we will contact you to reschedule. If rescheduling isn't possible, we will refund the booking fee in full.
Participation, safety, and age requirements
Glassblowing involves a working furnace, molten glass, and hot tools. Participation carries inherent risk.
The minimum age for Blow Your Own and glass fusing classes is 5.
The minimum age for hands-on blown glass workshops is 16.
All participants must sign a liability waiver before participating. A parent or legal guardian must sign on behalf of any participant under 18.
Participants must follow all safety instructions given by studio staff. We reserve the right to end a session, without refund, if instructions are not followed or if a participant's conduct creates a risk to themselves or others.
Closed-toe shoes are required.
Secure loose clothing, long hair, and dangling jewelry.
Finished pieces
Handmade glass must cool slowly in a kiln and cannot be taken home the day it is made.
Pieces are typically ready for pickup in 7 to 10 days.
We will contact the person listed on the reservation when pieces are ready.
We hold uncollected pieces for [12 months]. After that period, uncollected pieces become the property of Karg Art Glass.
Each piece is handmade and individually unique. Variations in color, size, shape, and finish are inherent to the medium and are not defects.
SMS terms and conditions
Program description. Karg Art Glass offers two text message programs. Booking and service messages include reservation confirmations, appointment reminders, scheduling changes, and notification that a finished piece is ready for pickup. Marketing messages include news about classes, events, gallery openings, seasonal offerings, and promotions. Each program requires separate consent, and consent to either is not a condition of any purchase or booking.
Age requirement. You must be 18 years of age or older to consent to receive text messages from Karg Art Glass.
Message frequency. Message frequency varies. We send booking and service messages as needed in connection with your reservation. We send marketing messages no more than 4 times per month.
Message and data rates. Message and data rates may apply. Karg Art Glass is not responsible for charges from your mobile carrier.
Opting out. You may cancel at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. After you reply STOP, we will send one confirmation message and will send no further messages in that program. To rejoin, sign up again as you did originally.
Help. For assistance, reply HELP to any message, email admin@kargartglass.com, or call (316) 744-2442.
Carrier liability. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on effective transmission by your mobile carrier and is not guaranteed.
Supported carriers. Message services are available on major U.S. carriers, though carrier support may change without notice.
Privacy. We handle your mobile information as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not share, sell, or rent your mobile phone number or your SMS opt-in consent to any third party or affiliate for marketing or promotional purposes.
Photography
Karg Art Glass may photograph or record experiences for use in promotional materials, including our website and social media. If you prefer not to be photographed, please tell a staff member at the start of your session.
Intellectual property
All content on kargartglass.com, including text, images, logos, and designs, is the property of Karg Art Glass and may not be reproduced without written permission. Glass works created by Rollin Karg and the Karg Art Glass studio are original artistic works protected by copyright.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Kansas law, Karg Art Glass is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or participation in our experiences. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the experience or item giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Governing law
The laws of the State of Kansas govern these terms. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Sedgwick County, Kansas.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms at any time. The revision date at the top will change when we do. By continuing to use our website or services, you accept the revised terms.
